What is Sugaring?

  • A form of hair removal similar to waxing, where the hairs are taken out from the root using a sugaring paste made up of sugar, lemon juice, and water

  • It grabs more hairs and shorter hairs than waxing, therefore it can last longer and also the organic paste causes less irritatation

Sugaring Guidelines

  • Take a soapy shower before your appointment, head to toe (don’t forget your feet! I will sugar your toes and they will be close to my face during the appointment).

  • Make sure to keep the area extra clean and bacteria free for the next 24 hours to allow the hair follicles to close and to prevent ingrown hairs. This means extra soap, toner, wipes, and loose clothing.

  • Exfoliate as much as you can! Except for the day of your appointment.

  • Be mindful of sun exposure for 24 hours post sugaring.

Does it hurt?

  • The long lasting results do come with some discomfort. Having regular appointments keeps the hairs from developing to their full potential, resulting in a less painful sugaring experience.
